About Me

Hello, I am Vaidik Kathal, an undergrad student at IIIT Allahabad. I am currently pursuing my B.Tech in IT'28. I'm passionate about backend development, building scalable apps, learning new tech. I enjoy architecting robust APIs, optimizing databases, and working with cloud technologies. Beyond backend development, I'm eager to master data structures, algorithms, and other core engineering topics that form the foundation of computer science. I have a growing interest in machine learning and artificial intelligence, and I'm excited to explore how these technologies are shaping the future. I also love contributing to open source, collaborating on innovative projects, and exploring topics like distributed systems and DevOps. My goal is to continuously expand my knowledge and skill set, embracing new challenges and opportunities in tech.

Carrer Timeline

2nd Year july 2025 - may 2026

As my second year has just started , I am very focus on upskilling my self and explore new core engineering topics as well as AI-ML. I am also working hard to improve my competitive programming skills and aim to reach top leaderboards in various platforms as well as qualify for national level programming events. In my second year i will be focusing more towards converting my problem solving skills to more industry required standards.

1st Year aug 2024 - may 2025

My first year at college was a transformative experience. Coming in with little to no prior programming knowledge, I quickly adapted to the rigorous academic environment. I explored foundational computer science concepts, participated in coding clubs, and collaborated with peers on small projects. This year laid the groundwork for my technical skills and ignited my passion for software development.

JEE preperation june 2022 - june 2024

I prepeared for JEE examination from my home town bhopal and excelled well in my first attempt getting 99.62%ile in JEE Mains as well as 7992 rank in JEE advanced. This journey taught me time manangement as well as imporved my mathematical concepts paired with the reality check of the sheer amount of competition i will be facing in my future.

Kopal public school(11th - 12th)

I did my high school diploma from kopal public school getting 92% in my class 12th CBSE along with preparing for JEE

St. Joseph Co-Ed School (till class 10th)

From spawning on 19 april 2006 then living a fruitfull childhood to completing class 10th which marked my end of middle school at St. Jospeh Co-ed school , I ended with 94% in my class 10th CBSE board.
